"The Mighty Sparrow" - FASCINATING

THE WORD IS ALREADY OUT!!!!!

“THE MIGHTY SPARROW” WILL BE SINGING IN NEW JERSEY ON JULY 11, 2009.

WHERE? At the BCA AUDITORIUM, in HACKENSACK, NEW JERSEY.

BUT WHO TAUGHT SPARROW TO SING CALYPSO?

READ HIS BIO AND YOU WILL SEE THAT:

"He attended the New Town Boys School (in Trinidad & Tobago) where he was selected to sing in the boys choir of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. This was his initial involvement in music."

" His vocal abilities also reflect his childhood role as the head choirboy who sang baritone and tenor in Latin in the church."

"The harmonics of the Gregorian Chants and the Plainsongs of the church that were embedded in him would later affect the depth
and intensity of his compositions."

There is much more to learn (and enjoy) about "The Sparrow."

So please visit us again tomorrow.

Investment Opportunities in Guyana, South America.

Today's POST has a somewhat different slant.

Three videos explain the wide ranging business development opportunities which Guyana offers both local and foreign investors. Click the link to the right - "Deal Flow - Business Without Borders" - to access these videos.

Guyana appears to be a country very much on the move. Investment opportunities in gold & diamond mining, offshore exploration of already proven oil fields, and commercial fish farming (tilapia) in ponds resulting from long established rice cultivation, are but a few of the opportunities that await investors from Northern New Jersey and elsewhere.

Study these three videos and let me know if like myself, you think that the Guyana/South America opportunity takes us all along the road to wealth and prosperity.

Good Morning Folks:

Was last Saturday's Children's Health & Safety Fair in East Orange, NJ, any good? I'd love to have some feed-back.

And what about the tree planting program in Newark, NJ? Was there an encouraging response by residents and friends?

Please tell me all about it.

By the way, world renowned Calypsonian, The Mighty Sparrow, will be the main attraction at a Calypso Concert on July 11, 2009 at the Auditorium in Hackensack, New Jersey. A delightful evening awaits you. I have already bought my tickets at TicketWeb.

Tree Planting Program in Newark, New Jersey.

Mayor Cory A. Booker and Acting Engineering Director Mehdi Mohammadish announced recently that the City of Newark, New Jersey, is still seeking volunteers to help plant nearly 100 trees across the City. The Newark tree-planting program will continue throughout the Month of May.

Please support this vitally important program.

And, bring some greenery to your home! An average home or office of less than 2,000 square feet should have at least 15 plants to help improve air quality.

Use Plants to improve air quality at home or in the office.

Did you know that a study by NASA and the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) concluded that common houseplants such as bamboo palms and spider plants not only make indoor spaces more attractive but convert carbon dioxide into oxygen?

Did you know that plants, through photosynthesis, purify the air by removing harmful elements such as trichloroethylene, benzene, and formaldehyde?
